I’m Dave Angell, a lifelong collector and enthusiast of vintage model trains, with a particular passion for Tri-ang Railways. What started as a personal hobby has grown into a way of sharing my love for classic model railways with fellow collectors and enthusiasts.

Over the years, my collection has expanded beyond Tri-ang to include Minic Motorway, Jump Jockey, Playcraft Trains, and Push Along Tri-ang Animals, among others. Like many collectors, I found myself with surplus and duplicate models, which naturally led to trading at Swapmeets and Exhibitions. As my reputation for fair and honest trading grew, so did the demand for mail order sales and requests to see images of my collection. That’s how Dave Angell Trains came to be.

Though my focus remains on Tri-ang, I often stock models from Mainline, Airfix, Lima, and Bachmann, as many collections include a mix of manufacturers. This site showcases a selection of the items I have available, but there’s always more—so if you’re looking for something specific, feel free to get in touch.
