Pat Hammond wrote an excellent trilogy of books covering the story of Rovex from the pre Triang days, through Triang Hornby and culminating in Hornby Railways. They cover the fascinating story of the models and the history of the company in tremendous detail.
They are regarded as the bible for all ‘Triang’ collectors and we all try to find items not covered – but it’s very rare!
The books were published by New Cavendish Books and are long out of print. The quality of information and print is to a very high standard.
This is volume 3 and covers the Hornby Railways era from 1972 to 1996.
This volume only had one print issue and is very much sought after and difficult to obtain.
A fascinating read and reference book, in excellent condition.
